This coat is for a pure breed Whippet with the arched back. Whippets have a very arched back and our Whippet coats also have a very arched shape/cut for pure breed Whippets.
If you have a cross breed whippet with a flatter back then this Whippet shape/cut WILL NOT BE suitable as it will hunch up on the dogs back and therefore we will recommend our lurcher coats that have a flatter back shape.
Measuring Guide:
We use the spine length of the dog to determine coat size.
The dog’s spine is measured. "Top of Shoulder to the Base of Tail" (spine length).
Do not measure up the neck or from the collar, this will give a larger measurement and the coat will be too big.

Please order the size of coat according to the dog’s spine length and breed of dog, these coats have different cuts according to the breed and are categorised on our site under their suited breed.
These coats have a fold back hood which makes the total length of the coat longer. Please order and select the coat size depending on the measured spine length and breed of your dog.
Please Note: These coats do not have harness holes.
