FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1
How do I measure my sighthound?
Different styles and brands require different measurements. The measurement information can be found on each individual product page.
Measure your hound whilst they are standing still in a natural position using a tailors/sewing measuring tape. Alternatively, use a piece of string then measure the string with a tape measure.
The back measurement needs to be taken from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (without measuring up the neck or over the tailbone at all). The chest measurement needs to be taken all the way around the deepest part of the chest.

I need a coat for my sighthound ASAP, how long will it take to arrive?
We always despatch orders as soon as possible and aim to despatch within 1-3 working days. You will have the option to select 1st or 2nd class Royal Mail (tracked) postage at the checkout.
3
Do the coats have a hole in the neck for a collar attachment?
Yes, the coats with a long snood neck have a hole for a collar to lead attachment. Coats with a shorter neck line do not have / need a collar hole.
4
Do the coats have a hole in the back for a harness attachment?
No, the coats do not have a harness hole. Harness styles are not standard and the lead fixing can vary, this means there is no accurate place to put the hole. Wearing harnesses underneath can also affect the fit due to many harnesses having handles. Some customers put harnesses over the top of the coats particularly the more fitted styles such as the Soft Shell Jackets and Outdoor Jumpers. If you have an escape artist, you may need to consider if wearing a harness over the top of a coat/jacket would affect the harnesses fit.
5
Do you have unlined greyhound raincoats?
Yes, the Basic Raincoat LIGHT are super thin, lightweight coats with a breathable mesh lining. These coats are perfect if you are looking for protection from the rain and wind only and not for warmth.
6
