Many standard dog coats simply don’t sit well on a Whippet’s frame, either gaping around the middle, slipping as they move or protruding past the curve of the spine. Each Whippet coat at Pointy Faces has been carefully chosen for its thoughtful design and sighthound-specific cut. Caring for your Whippet coat
After a wet walk hang your whippet’s coat in a well-ventilated area to dry. Once dried, mud or dirty can be lightly brushed off using a fabric cloth. Our coats are machine washable at max 30 °C. After washing, air dry. The waterproofing treatment on the top layer of the coat will need renewing after a number of machine washes. To renew the waterproofness, we recommend using a waterproofing fabric spray available at shops selling equipment for outdoor activities. Apply as instructed to a clean, dry coat.
